Recently, 90 large blocks of heavy-burned magnesia are offered at RMB 1650-1850/ton (this is the factory tax-inclusive price). Its price is stable and slightly down.
High purity magnesia (actual 96.5% MgO content ) is quoted at 7000-7200 yuan/ton. The conservative reference price of high purity magnesia is 7,800 yuan/ton. The price of medium-grade magnesia is 4800-5000 yuan/ton. The overall price is relatively stable. The prices of heavy-burned magnesia and medium-grade magnesia are falling, and their prices are mainly reflected by low grade road goods. There is little impact on ensuring content magnesia market.
After the turbulent March, the price of sintered magnesia remained stable. On April 3, the people`s government of Haicheng city, Liaoning province held a meeting to implement the environmental protection supervision requirements from the central government, issued the industry new rules. This time last year, the industry was shut down because of environmental concerns. The work conference shows that the high pressure state about environmental protection is not relaxed .
Heavy-burned magnesia and medium-grade magnesia have maintained a stable price and inventory since last October. We've learned that the companies who lower the prices of their products aim to better clean up their inventories.
