During visits and telephone interviews with product companies, it was found that most product companies experienced delayed orders or refunds. Some companies saw a significant drop in orders. Most production companies have not yet reached full capacity. The main reason is that the downstream enterprises are affected by the epidemic and there is a period of production suspension due to work stoppage. It is believed that as the downstream enterprises gradually resume work, the situation will gradually improve. According to the person in charge of some product companies, it is expected to return to normal in May-June.
Under the influence of this situation, the restocking of various raw material manufacturers caused a product backlog. The main reason is that the product manufacturers have sufficient stock at the end of the year, and after the resumption of work, the full production rate of the enterprises is not high, the shortage of raw materials is less, the purchase volume is low, and the orders of raw material companies have been greatly reduced.
At present, in order to reduce product inventory, all enterprises are selling at a reduced price. Among them, dense corundum, plate corundum has a larger decline, white corundum has a smaller decline, and brown corundum is more stable. And with the recent decline in industrial alumina prices, prices of dense corundum, white corundum, and plate corundum all have a further downward trend.
The price of white corundum sand is between 4600-4700 yuan per ton, and the brown corundum sand is 4800-5100 yuan per ton.
